Abstract :
An algorithm that defines the actions to be taken and the indications to be given at the receiving side of a link using the asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) adaptation layer type-1 protocol is described. The algorithm aims to keep the synchronization of the sequence number counting of the cells. An example of application to a terminal adaptor for high-quality audio is also given
