Abstract :
We introduce a new analog nonlinear system exhibiting chaotic dynamics, aiming at analog noise and spread spectrum clock generation. The proposed system is based on a signum type nonlinear function, with discontinuity in the origin, implemented using a high gain comparator. The system design, nonlinear dynamics and statistical analysis are presented. The performance of the system in the proposed applications is discussed with simulation results.
