Abstract :
A microrobot structure, based on piezoelectric materials that implements a new driving approach has been developed. This approach is based on the concept of Smart Piezoelectric Unit (SPU), that means the integration of the piezolectric actuator and its driving circuitry in the same package to be considered as an independent and compact unit, which can be used to build, as a single and primary element, more complex structures
