Abstract :
Hybridization of energy systems profoundly depends on power electronic converters which interface more than one energy sources of distinct V-I characteristics. For efficient utilization of energy sources, well designed power converters (interfacing circuitry) are essential. In this paper, a non isolated dual input DC/DC converter has been proposed. The proposed converter is proficient for energy diversification from two energy sources individually or simultaneously with possibilities of series and parallel combination of input sources. It can be operated bidirectionally in Buck, Buck-Boost and Boost modes of operation. Analysis of the proposed converter along with simulation study using MATLAB/Simulink has been presented.
