Abstract
Analyzed the conductance transient of microsensors based on tin oxide sol-gel thin film. We applied a novel method to this research field for data analysis and discrimination among different volatile organic compounds. Moreover we compare the results of recognition with those achieved by the most common techniques which use the steady state of the sensors as a feature vector and ignore the transient response, which contains additional discriminatory information
