  • Abstract
    The potential use of micro-Raman spectroscopy for estimating the microstructural changes occurring in periodontal ligaments after orthodontic treatment was explored. An in vitro investigation on bovine ligaments was carried out in order to find the appropriate conditions for studying human cases. The results were compared with preliminary analysis from human samples.
