Traditional wises think inter-firm network as instrument for lowering or diversifying risk, which is questioned by recent studies. The purpose of the paper is to investigate the role of inter-firm network in the formation of risk crisis in the background of industrial cluster. The paper puts forward an analyzing model and studies recent cases from Zhejiang Province of China. The paper suggests inter-firm network would derive unexpected risks for clustered firm, and cause risk agglomeration in industrial cluster by diffusing and superimposing risk impact from individual firm.
