Abstract :
The reconstruction of a bandlimited two-dimensional signal from a set of nonuniform samples is discussed. It is proved that Lagrange interpolation is possible in polar coordinates under a more general setup than that of H. Stark (J. Opt. Soc. Am., vol.69, p.1519-25, Nov. 1979), i.e. the nonuniform samples are on nonuniformly samples lie on radial lines and the rotational distances of radial lines are nonuniformly spaced. The nonuniform samples need not be limited to zeros of Bessel functions
