Abstract :
Elastix is an open source software platform which uses Asterisk PBX (Private Branch eXchange) as the kernel to build unified communications system. It can choose the combination of different communication components to achieve customized solutions. This article researched the structure and functions of Elastix, and built an unified communications system which based on Elastix and collaboration environment suite Duckling. It implemented the functions of VOIP(Voice Over Internet Protocol), voice mail, network fax, etc.
