Abstract
Spatial focusing of time-reversed UWB electromagnetic waves is demonstrated in a hallway environment. Firstly, a general time domain channel model for the hallway environment has been built. This model takes into account the materials as well as the geometric configuration of the environment. Based on this model, spatial focusing of TR technique is investigated and simulation results show there is 10dB energy drop when the receiver is 1 m away from the intended receiver
