Abstract :
The problem of estimating the parameters of the induction motor using its ABC/abc model to incorporate the different modes of operation of the machine is discussed. The Levenberg-Marquardt non-linear least squares algorithm is used to optimise the parameters of a model, which uses the measurement of currents and voltages of the stator and the rotor. The non-linear identification is made during the transient state and the continuous state. The possibility of exciting the motor by injecting low voltage or harmonics for identifying its parameters and for increasing the precision is also presented.
