Abstract
Exponential stability of smapled-data nonlinear systems is investigated via the systems´ Euler approximations. New consistency condition and its sufficient conditions are presented. Under the consistency condition the exponential stable controllers for Euler approximations also exponentially stabilize the exact discrete-time models. These conditions may be verified with the continuous-time models, the control laws and the Euler approximations of the systems so that the sampled-data controllers could be designed based on the Euler approximations of the systems while the exact discrete-time models are unknown.
