Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone has a unique position and advantage in china. It is one of the three important economic zones in the west part in china. This article is based on the regional Competitiveness theory, use the method of factor analysis and compare guanzhong — Tianshui Economic Zone with the Western relatively developed provinces to making regional competitiveness rankings. According to the results of the rankings, making full use of advantages, making up for the shortcomings and propose the promotion strategies.
