  • Abstract
A new phase measurement based on the six-port technology is introduced in this paper and compared with the conventional superheterodyne phase detector. The six-port architecture adopting zero-intermediate frequency architecture, consisting of the six-port junction, detectors, video amplifiers and other devices. It has been proven to reduce the difficulty of the system-design and have vast value for wireless communication and radar direction finding systems. The phase measurement is an important aspect of the six-port technology. The results indicate that the measuring phase errors of inspecting system are less than ±3.5°.
