This paper makes a comprehensive analysis of economic interaction between large aircraft project and regional economy by calculating the response coefficient and influence coefficient of all the 42 sectors based on the input-output table of Xi´an in 2007, and also study the consumption effects and distribution effects that transportation equipment manufacturing industry impacts on all the other sectors. The results show that transportation equipment manufacturing has both high response coefficient and influence coefficient, therefore, there is strong interaction between large aircraft project and regional economy. Governments should seize the opportunity of Large Aircraft Project not only to support the national strategy, but also promotes the economy of its own.
