Abstract :
A second order one-way wave equation in frequency domain is derived in Cartesian system and cylindrical coordinate system respectively. After proper discretization procedure, the second order frequency domain absorbing boundary conditions in both systems are obtained. With them, open steady-state electromagnetic problems can be solved with differential equation method and confine the computational domain in a small mesh volume. Finally, an actual example is calculated and the results are satisfactory.
