Abstract :
For a ground breaking technology like Mobile WiMAX, it is expected to meet all the requirements for serving the continuous increase of users. So it is of utmost importance that the estimation of Cell Range and capacity is met properly. It would be backbreaking to provide satisfactory service for the WiMAX service providers if the calculation of downlink bandwidth in mobile WiMAX is not estimated properly. In this paper we tried to develop an algorithm to determine the maximum bandwidth for downlink in each specific Mobile WiMAX sector may support. We also simulated the entire algorithm for different system parameter and traffic cases to ease the Mobile WiMAX planning problem using MATLAB.
