Abstract :
It is shown that the generalized impedance matrices and their inverses of dipole circular arrays are both symmetric block circulant matrices with symmetric circulant blocks by taking into account the symmetry of the arrays. Based on the above conclusion some efficient numerical techniques for analysis of the arrays are suggested. The results reveal that the runtime for evaluating the matrix elements by using the efficient techniques is reduced to about 3% of that by general methods, and the runtime for finding the inverse of the impedance matrix reduced on average to 25% of that by general methods.
