Abstract :
The effect on gastric electrophysiology signal by electroacupuncture at the "Zusanli" points on rabbits with a variety of the modern electricity apparatuses on biomedicine were studied. The "Zusanli" points on rabbits were stimulated with electroacupunctures to observe the change of the frequency and the amplitude of electrogastrogram in the experiment. The experimental result shows the frequency of electrogastrogram has slowered (P<0.05) and the amplitude has increased (P<0.05) when the during acupuncturing group for 10 minutes compared with the no acupuncturing group, and the frequency of electrogastrogram has also slowered (P<0.05) and the amplitude has increased (P<0.05) when the stopping acupuncturing group for 10 minutes compared with the no acupuncturing group, and yet the frequency of electrogastrogram has a little increased (P>0.05) and the amplitude has a little reduced (P>0.05) when the stopping acupuncture group for 10 minutes compared with the during acupuncturing group, moreover, the action can persist for a period of time after stopping acupunctur, that is, acupuncture at the "Zusanli" points has some after effects. So the study indicates that the frequency of electrogastrogram can be slowered by electroacupuncture at the "Zusanli" points and the amplitude of electrogastrogram can be increased, and acupuncturing at the "Zusanli" points has the effect on the activity of gastric electrophysiology.
