Abstract :
This paper introduces a trireflector antenna system using a spherical reflector as the main reflector, and two subreflectors designed by computer. The antenna can scan over a specific region by rotating the feed and the two subreflectors while the main reflector is kept stationary. As the antenna system is an offset type, the aperture efficiency has been improved. This paper also discusses the computer aid design of the reflector antenna with an advanced software technique.
