Abstract :
Ground-based microwave radar equipment for surveillance and search often involve a microwave multiway rotating joint, which is employed to transfer microwave signals for a mechanical scan. These kinds of multiway rotating joints tend to operate from several hundred MHz to about 3 GHz. In this paper, the author introduces a study on EMC in several kinds of microwave multiway rotating joints with computer emulation techniques, and proves it by presenting test results from the real production, Two-way and six-way joints are studied.
