Abstract :
It is shown that the modification of the Viterbi algorithm is possible using the statistical dependence of the data to be coded. This modification improves the error-correcting capabilities of the Viterbi decoder. While the complexity of the decoder is not significantly increased, it is dependent on block synchronization
