Abstract :
In the paper, the matrix analysis method is applied to discuss the shielding characteristics of multilayer plane shield for a normally incident plane wave. A matrix equation is formed through Maxwell equation´s boundary condition. The uniform calculating formula of the reflection coefficient, shielding coefficient and shielding effectiveness for the arbitrary multi-layer plane shield is induced.
