Abstract :
We present a comprehensive experimental study on the effects of hydrogen microwave plasma post-treated tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C) coated carbon nanotubes (CNTs). The CNTs were prepared via plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition while the ta-C coating was conducted by pulsed laser deposition technique. Enhanced field emission performance of plasma treated composite material than the pristine one was observed and also investigated in this study.
