Abstract
A mathematical model of a brushless DC motor fed by 3-phase PWM inverter is developed in order to analyze and to simulate the dynamic behavior of the motor on a computer in the following conditions: (a) starting; (b) changing of the mechanical load torque; and (c) rotor speed control by changing the fundamental components of the supplied voltages
