Abstract :
In this paper represented the electrical power efficacy of sugar industry in sugar centrifugal processes. To analyze correlations between power usage in sugar centrifugal process and cane capacity, SPSS or data analysis ToolPak´s are obtained. Sugar mills facing challenge because of nonlinear load, namely adjustable speed drive (ASD) in sugar centrifugal. This is lead to the harmonics loading in the system, losses increases and unwanted disturbance to the voltage and current stress in the system. The analysis result shown the real power in sugar industrial is 229.01 GW.h per cane crop seasons. With unwanted disturbance from harmonics, power in sugar industrial is 440.4 GW.h per cane crop seasons. The modern technique of harmonics compensation can reduce all losses in the system. Power save from losses can be use in any purpose in the future.
