Abstract
A new class of bandstop filter (BSF) consisting of circular/rectangular bent microstrip transmission lines with spiral stubs are presented in this paper. This filter achieves the bandstop characteristics at 1.44 GHz. The prototype models are fabricated and tested. Both simulation and experimental results are presented and compared. A good agreement between the two is observed.
