Abstract :
A fast simulation algorithm in the time domain is presented for linear and lightly nonlinear VLSI circuit networks containing interconnects, based on the fact that the contribution of the linear circuit components to the admittance matrix [Y] in the modified nodal admittance (MNA) equations of circuit analysis is invariant with time. This algorithm improves the analysis efficiency greatly but doesn´t employ any approximation.
