Abstract
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has received considerable attention due to addressing its the real cause of the illness while western medicine treats symptoms. However, the TCM hospitals can not satisfy all those ever-increasing requirements of medical care resources when people pay more and more attention to their health conditions. In this paper, a wireless sensor-networks-based TCM system for remote pulse information diagnosis, called RTCPDS (Remote Traditional Chinese Pulse Diagnosis System), is introduced. A proposed wearing system may collect the pulse image, analyze the information by data fusion and provide diagnostic results. The paper we also introduces patio-time correspondence principle for comprehending pulse information. Those results indicate significant practical feasibility of the RTCPDS.
