Abstract :
The FPGA image preprocessing system architecture which uses Sobel algorithm to realize the adaptive edge detection is proposed, and the image data stream read, pre-storage, pretreatment and post-buffering can be achieved in the system. The high-speed stream storage system with complete data flow control path and flexible small-core processing technology is adopted in the design for the realization of a variety of image pre-processing functions which has good portability. The simulation results show that all kinds of functions of the pre-processor achieve the expected requirements.
