Abstract :
The various methods for the distance learning system have been lately tried and reported by some educational organizations in Japan. The methods based on the Internet technology have especially considerable attention. The remarkable improvement of the information technologies stands behind them. The technologies, which we mention here, include telecommunication, computer, software, and multimedia. In this paper we consider the distance learning system for engineering education, which works on the Internet, using multimedia technologies and mathematical tools. The distance learning system, which we mention in this paper, represents the lectures of the control engineering in TMIT. We try to verify some technical problems for developing the contents and the validity of tools for the distance learning in case of the engineering education
