Abstract :
This paper describes a simulation modelling approach to the dynamics of a practical wireless LAN implementation. The study represents nine nodes running the CSMA/CD protocol. These nodes are split into 3 clusters of 3. The authors look at overall network performance and traffic interference between clusters. Path attenuation values between nodes are used to determine the interference between clusters. The simulation systems has been modelled in BONeS Designer, a graphical behavioural simulation environment
