Abstract
An approach to the problem of reconstructing the field components inside unknown dielectric objects exposed to an incident field is presented. Using a previously proposed formulation for the inverse-scattering problem involved in microwave imaging, a numerical solution based on the moment method is developed. The unknown array containing the total electric field is derived from a pseudoinverse algorithm applied to overcome the ill-conditioning of the problem. Preliminary examples are given
