Abstract :
The approach of Saeki (1992) for the solution of LQG/LTR by H∞ minimization of the recovery error is extended to H ∞ output feedback design. It is shown that when the H ∞ norm of a selected closed loop transfer function is restricted to be less than a positive real number γ and when that number may be taken arbitrarily large, the proposed method reduces to that of Saeki given in the LQG/LTR context
