  • Abstract
    This paper describes a numerically stable algorithm for the computation of the optimal H performance γopt when the feedthrough matrices D12 or D 21 are rank-deficient. Using only orthogonal transformations, this algorithm extracts a regular subproblem from the original singular H problem. A standard Riccati-based γ-iteration scheme is then applied to this regular subproblem to compute γopt
