Abstract :
We describe a comprehensive CACSD (computer-aided control system design) package called SYMCON (SYMbolic computation CONtroller), for the design of multivariable discrete-time control systems using the polynomial equation approach. It covers the design of all the well-established discrete-time control schemes. The package is useful for the design of stable, robust, linear quadratic Gaussian controllers. It can be used on all MapleV-supported platforms
