Abstract :
In this paper, we present a raw signal simulator for the squint mode bistatic SAR. Firstly, we analyze the range history for the bistatic SAR and the monostatic SAR. Through the comparison between them, we derive a set of formulas for the bistatic-to-monostatic application (BTMA). Subsequently, we introduce the 2-D Fourier domain SAR raw signal simulator for the monostatic SAR. Based on BTMA, this simulator for monostatic SAR can be extended to the bistatic case. Finally, we present some simulation results to verify the effectiveness of the proposed raw signal simulator.
