Abstract :
This paper presents a novel active training machine used for elderly people. The Mechanical Design and the control system configuration of the training machine are described. The process of operations and a load control method for the training machine are proposed by introducing the principle of reverse current control. The experimental results of the load control indicate the effectiveness of the control system.
