Abstract
Sorting unknown radar emitter signals is a difficult and urgent problem need to be addressed for current electronic countermeasures. Based on higher order statistics (HOS), sorting various modulated signals is implemented, and it has the advantage of suppressing Gaussian noise. However, it is invalid for signals with the same modulation types but different modulating parameters. A new method based on HOS-PRI is proposed. Firstly, HOS is used to classify signals with different modulation types. Secondly, pulse repetition interval (PRI) is used to sort signals with the same modulation types but different modulating parameters further. Simulation result shows that the new method is accurate and effective.
