Abstract
This paper analyzes the performance of a three-phase induction generator which is connected to a single-phase power system. Significant improvement in machine performance can be obtained by using a static phase-converter, provided that the machine is driven in the reverse direction. The theoretical analysis a validated by experiments on a 2 kW test machine
