Abstract :
The technique of equivalent circuits in Fourier space for the solution of electromagnetic problems has been modified to include the nonlinear case. As a first application, a linear dielectric film of arbitrary refractive index bounded by two media, with the cladding considered to be nonlinear, has been examined and presented elsewhere. However, the examination of the above problem was concentrated in the TE polarization. In the present paper this problem is analyzed, but considering the TM polarization. Some useful results concerning the guided wave power vs. propagation constant have been derived
