Abstract :
Under the outdoors temperature of -13degC, the corn soil (0-10 cm) of long-term applying atrazine was collected in Heilongjiang Province. From the collected soil, we isolated a strain which the ability of atrazine degrading was relatively high named Z9 under the condition of using atrazine as sole carbon and nitrogen source. The configuration photos of Z9 were observed by using optic microscope and SEM. These photos showed the shape of Z9 was short bacilliform. By physiological and biochemical characteristics testing, the preliminary identifications indicated that Z9 belongs to Microbacterium sp. Through different experiments, we known that the suitable condition for atrazine degrading strain Z9 was: atrazine concentration was 100 mgldrl-1, pH was 7, temperature at 30degC, Under these condition, after 12 days cultivation, the degradation rate of atrazine can reach 75.4%.
