Abstract :
A general procedure to eliminate constant-input limit cycles, when applied to the well known lattice digital filter structures, results in new realizations. A synthesis procedure for these structures is presented. As illustrated through examples, they maintain the good properties of the original lattice. In particular, details are given for a sixth-order elliptic bandpass filter with passband edges of 980 and 1020 rad/s, stopband edges of 850 and 1150 rad/s, passband ripple of 0.5 dB, minimum stopband attenuation of 65.5 dB, and sampling frequency of 10000 rad/s
