Building a Modern Electricity Regulatory System in China is a process of electricity regulatory system reform from interventionism to regulatory governance in the past 60 years. It focuses on re-defining the role of government during the electricity industry development. It reveals an institutional evolution from China´s planning economy, to transition economy, and market economy in the future, although the designing of China´s Modern Electricity Regulatory System still has much more work to do.
