The reasons influencing process quality are usually complexity. As the nonlinear relationships are there between problems and causes, many difficulties are appeared for us to diagnose process quality and to determine relevant improvement measures. The paper employs partly the method of Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to treat with correlativity between problem and process, process and systemic factor, systemic factor and particular causation. The particular causation influencing output is diagnosed and key measure is determined through the transformation of correlation matrix layer upon layer subsequently. Case studies show the method is effectual. It is helpful for decision-making in quality improvement
