Abstract
SIP appears to be a powerful and useful signaling protocol supporting mobility for wireless IP networks but it has inherent weaknesses and dangers. This paper is a study on the security and disruption time (delay) of SIP and SIP signaling in wireless networks and services. For disruption time, we specifically looked at the VoIP time. We compared the disruption time for MIP and SIP.
