Abstract :
A simple method of serial connecting IGBT´s is applied and standard low voltage IGBT modules are used in the MV test inverter to evaluate the method. The dc link voltage is 2.4 kV and the RMS output line to line voltage is 1.7 kV. The method works and test experiences are presented in paper.
