  • Abstract
    This paper addresses a novel light weight portable generator set driven by a gasoline engine (usually called genset). This groundbreaking new genset product provides higher power density with an electrical load demand governor which adjusts engine speed automatically according to the load requirements. Both DC 12 V battery boost voltage and 120 V AC output voltage are provided. Up to 850 Watts electrical power can be obtained with the entire genset weighing only 22 pounds
