The urbanization is the only way for China to achieve modernization goals. The demand for land of the urbanization led to the land absolute and relative prices of the urban and rural to grow. In reality, the excessive growth of urban land prices had a negative impact to orderly development of the economy. The article reveal the intrinsic link about the urban area expansion and increase in the relative price of the urban and rural land through the new classical economics. It also propose that should be appropriate to the urban area expansion and increase in the relative price of the urban and rural land. The government should be plenty of opportunities in the coordination and control on the balanced development of both.
