  • Abstract
    A class of CMOS analog four-quadrant multipliers is proposed based on a squaring block operating in class B. It is demonstrated that this type of circuit offers better performance in terms of input-range and output-efficiency over traditional solutions which, in turn, leads to less sensitivity to transistor parameter mismatch. Measured electrical characteristics from an experimental version of the proposed circuit are also presented
